    from Keiichi Matsuda Added 637K 4,916 189

NOV 2013: KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN FOR NEW FILMS - CLICK HERE - http://hyper-reality.co The latter half of the 20th century saw the built environment merged with media space, and architecture taking on new roles related to branding, image and consumerism. Augmented reality may recontextualise the functions of consumerism and architecture, and change in the way in which we operate within it. A film produced for my final year Masters in Architecture, part of a larger project about the social and architectural consequences of new media and augmented reality.

                from Real Estate 4 Ransom Added 67.3K 119 23

REAL ESTATE 4 RAN$OM outlines a genuine alternative to the global property speculation mantra that continues to force so many into debt or dingy homes. Doubling the pressure, the tax game has become just that, with tax havens a favoured option for the wealthy. The result - we are taxing the wrong things, causing more problems whilst bankrupting once proud economies. A systemic change is essential if we are to avoid these damaging boom-bust-bailouts. https://www.facebook.com/realestate4ransom Co-Directors - Gavin Emmanuel (foregroundmedia.com/) & Karl Fitzgerald. An economist says 'more for you is less for me.' But the lover knows that more of you is more for me too. If you love somebody their happiness is your happiness. Their pain is your pain. Your sense of self expands to include other beings. This shift of consciousness is universal in everybody, 99% and 1%." CHARLES EISENSTEIN is a teacher, speaker, and writer focusing on themes of civilization, consciousness, money, and human cultural evolution.
