By the time he has finished, running around the UK he would have covered just over 1,100 miles. Cash goes to Sport Relief a biennial charity event from Comic Relief, which aims to bring together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries. YOU CAN Donate online here: http://www.sportrelief.com I caught Eddie Izzard, as he stopped outside the Hippodrome theatre, filming him and asked him a few questions. He also asked me a few questions on why I was filming him, and he said "he found it strange, me filming him, and then posting it online! - but what a great idea, as perhaps so far I ask.."I'm the only person doing this..?" Street performing is an important example of creativity and individuality. An integral part of any urban landscape; they perform impressive stunts and add cultural flavour. Our high streets can be lively, dynamic and exciting places that give a sense of belonging and trust to a community. A sense of belonging which is gradually becoming eroded and in some cases eradicated. New legislations could see the buskers that colour our city streets arrested and fined for causing 'nuisance' or 'annoyance' in public spaces. We stroll past street performers occasionally. Laugh, enjoy a moment and show our voluntary gratitude for the show by putting some money into a hat. Does anyone ever ask why? Or how? What kind of intriguing person steps away from the comfortable conformity of city life and rides a unicycle to work? It's a mystery to most of us. Which is why 'Feet on the Street: The Grounded People' explores the lives of these unique personalities on the street, including an exclusive interview with Eddie Izzard - famously starting his career on the streets of Covent Garden, London. Music includes: C2C - Down The Road Alt - J - Tesselate Freeland - Under Control
