A unison agreement was that there is a lack of knowledge pertaining to sustainable development within the industry, while at the same time there is a growing demand for more sustainable practices. By being able to combine ordinary daily work with education at a distance, the participants can directly apply their newfound skills on their workplace and therefore create a win-win situation for all parties involved. Over 30 companies and organizations came together to make this happen and the Steering Committee of the program is made up of individuals from 10 companies/organizations from the industry.
