1. The Life | TV pilot Trailer

    from Steve Pitre Added 136 1 0

"The Life" is an original scripted series that will work to end child sex trafficking in the U.S. We will examine, in depth, the causes, experiences and struggles taking place in the world of under-aged sexual exploitation in New York City; from the perspectives of the exploited (teenagers), the exploiters (pimps) and those involved in the heroic fight against under-aged sex trafficking (law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, private investigators, etc.). I shot this tv pilot over 6 long days and nights in May 2013. Shot on Sony FS700, with Canon EF lenses on a shoestring budget.

I'm frequently commissioned by Tennis Australia to make short films and recently had the great privilege of producing two videos for the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia - one of the sponsors of the 2014 Australian Open. It's every filmmakers dream to find a client who embraces the creative process and that's exactly what happened with this short film about Tennis Australia weatherman Bob Leighton. The brief was to very subtly highlight the benefits of becoming a CPA and that's where Bob came in. In many ways he's like a good CEO - he doesn't wait until the storm clouds are above him before deciding to close the roof on Rod Laver Arena. The film was shot on a Canon C300 using EF glass. It was my first commercial project using the C300 and it never missed a beat.
