                kilos botante 2010 3rd Place - Video contest Open Category Inspired by imagination and surrealism, BOTO DE BOLA presents reality in a fashion unrestricted by reality. Shot in a stop-motion-animation style, the film depicts the dirty practice of vote buying/selling in the Philippines. The story begins with a girl selling her vote to a wealthy politician. The politician eventually won, but after claiming the position, he has done nothing but acts of corruption. So deep was his greed that even supposedly-free government services were pegged at a high price. The voter ended up paying the politician back, but with a rather greater cost, for she has not only lost her money, but her right and her dignity as well.
