Download the full EP from his bandcamp here: http://bulletdumas.bandcamp.com/album/bullet-dumas-ep The Philippines has a decent-at-best cuisine, terribly bumpy roads and extreme pollution and widespread poverty in the bigger cities. However, what's more prevalent than any of these negatives -what made made me fall in love with the Philippines- is the unconditionally kind and happy people. Everyone are so fantastically welcoming, without ever making you feel like they're just after your money - they're genuinely interested in who you are (or very good actors). And no matter their social or financial situation, they always smile wide. All this is only more prominent in the children, of which there are a serious abundance on the islands. I would estimate that in El Nido, at least two in five people are below 10 years old. In Bohol, a local named Lito drove me around Tagbilaran city on his motorbike. After telling him I used to work at a school in Norway, he persuaded me to visit a local school. He said he knew a teacher, and that we could go ask her if I could sit in on a class and take pictures. Before I even had both feet inside the gate, all eyes were on me. I was the most interesting thing in the world; it was as if a white dude in a bucket hat had never broken into their school before. I was nearly attacked by kids wanting to try their English on me, or wanting me to take their picture, and I was immediately greeted by the teachers and invited into class, which was just starting, before Lito the Local could even find the teacher he knew. I believe this story perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the Philippines, a country filled to the brim with kind people and bland food. Also, for no more than 50 pesos, you can go on a Speedo safari, where you get to see Speedoed men struggle with small waves. For reasons unclear to me, the Philippines is not yet a big tourist attraction, resulting in the Speedoed man's endangerment in the country. Donate by sending "Groban" to (+47)94888817, and help save the utterly fascinating species from extinction! All money donated will be used to build a Speedo national park. #SpareTheSpeed on twitter and instagram. Let's make this happen, people. The Philippines is the first out of six countries on my 19-week South Asia itinerary. Today I'm leaving the Philippines, after almost four weeks, to go to Sri Lanka. This film is shot in Sabang (including the Subterranean River National Park) and El Nido of Palawan, as well as in Bohol, Cebu and Malapascua. Shot almost exclusively with a Panasonic GH3 and the 14-140mm F3.5/5.6. A few clips are shot with an Olympus 45mm F1.8 and the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. All but the closing shot (for which I used a gorillapod) is handheld, and I don't own any acceptable stabilizer software, hence the sometimes involuntary shaking on the longer focal lengths. Hope you find a way to live through it.

This is the second part of my journey, from November to February. It´s been three weeks so far since I arrived back in Spain. Nowadays, I enjoy my time as a "almost Chinese" story-teller and I remember now everything that I did, every place I stepped on (even with crutches or by wheelchair) and all the people I met. Every moment will remain in my memory and every person in my heart. Now I say: "Goodbye Shanghai, Goodbye China, It was my pleasure". Ok, I know, "Day-by-day" track is not completed but I tried. It was more or less three months and the video was too long so I had to select. I swear, It was not easy.
