A task set for my first year degree in Creative Sound Design under the module: Sounds & Synthesis. I was awarded a 1st for this assessment in that I only just received the result, yesterday morning. I've totally shocked myself that I did all this using synthesis. By the way this is only using Logic Pro 9's built in Synth Instruments. There are no recorded audio or samplers neither Logic's Sampler Units or Logic Sounds or 3rd party plugins were used. Also all the sounds you hear in this video are synthesisers with added Logic 9 Effects and have been experimented with and layered accordingly using: 29x ES1s 20x ES2s 2x ES Ms 4x EFM1s 4x ES Es 7x ES Ps 5x SCULPTUREs 4x EVOC 20 PSs Total Logic 9 Synths Used = 75 Hope this enlightens any Creative Sound Designer and that when your University Lecturer says ''go to town on it'' then that is the best advice you can get and I did exactly that. To the owners of this video. I would never intend to sell or make money from advertising through the use of this video clip, it is purely to express the Sound Design aspect for educational use only. However whoever owns the copyright and wants me to remove this video clip I respect your wishes to take this down. Any Questions please do contact me.

http://www.pointblankonline.net/courses/logic-courses.php This tutorial is the first in a two part mini series exploring the capability in Logic Pro of being able to design your own custom controller, in this case, for controlling an LFO filter cut-off wobble bass. You will learn how to read the signals sent from plug-ins, and build and adapt faders utilising the power of transformers in the environment window to create an MPC style pad interface for the ES2 which controls the wobble increments of the LFO. In this part we take a look into setting up the ES2 synthesizer so that it will act in the way we require for it to be controlled by our own custom built controller. http://www.pointblankonline.net/courses/logic-courses.php In this Logic tutorial video Paul Yarrow explores the possibility of processing the ES2 synthesizer through Korg Monotribe’s fantastic MS-20 filter, taking a digital synth into the analogue domain. The processing possibilities when this is achieved become almost endless as the Monotribe and ES2 fuse together into one powerful multi oscillator synth using the sounds from both machines. Here's a little showcase of some recent experiments with Cinder and iOS. I've been working on some updates to Cinder to better leverage the devices, including things like location, orientation, OpenGL ES2, and more. Here's the laundry list of what's happening here, not necessarily in chronological order: - OpenGL ES2 / GLSL - iOS port of Hai Nguyen's Fluids2d - Location services - Location based augmented reality - 3D drawing - OBJ loading - Multi-oscillator synthesis and FFT analysis - Data visualization - GLSL filters, vector morphing - Device orientation, accelerometer - Access both cameras, record video to camera roll - Localization - 2D UI engine - Multi-sampling Music is "Dreams I Create" by Blackbird Blackbird. Special thanks to Hai Nguyen for Fluids2D, Chris McKenzie for Pivot and Andrew Bell for Cinder and its SVG parser. :D
