1. "Perpetual Pistons" (永动机)

The mechanics of attraction follow no laws of reason or logistical science. When you watch the female form move, the internal combustion you feel within is nothing to be alarmed about. It is simply standard procedure for you to feel weak in the knees and hard where it counts. You may be the kind of prototype that has no standards and therefore anything or any woman will make you feel this way. Or you could be accustomed to being switched into superficial mode, in which only flawless looking females with vacuum function capabilities float your boat. Or you could be the type to fall for a specialized model that blows all your circuits, making you ineffective for use afterwards. The laws of attraction are nothing to be trifled with and to be on the safe side, make sure you get a regular MOT. Someone passingly said at a party once that we’re all "breathing dinosaur particles," I think, was how he put it. I guess perhaps it was just one of those stock statements you use to rouse a little interest and get yourself laid. Nevertheless, as someone who would know, I had to step in and mention that there’s slightly more to it than that but, yes, we’re potentially like, breathing dinosaur particles as well as Jesus’s particles, Mao’s, and whatever or whoever else has ever been here. In thousands of years people will be breathing little atoms of dead you. I ought to stop myself here and explain that the odds incredibly poor that you might be, at this very moment, breathing any notable molecules, but rest assured someone somewhere is. Also, I don’t want to make you think about your breathing too much and give you dyspnea. This is, of course, when you’re terribly conscious of each breath to the point that it becomes foreign and labored. If you have that now though it’s probably just a little anxiety. I will warn you though that it could also be asthma, pneumonia, cardiac ischemia, interstitial lung disease, congestive heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. People just build and make so many things. Always have. All the warranty and assurances man can muster up won’t distract from the truth that nothing will be around for the long, long haul. More times than not though, things don’t fade all together at once. If you look long and hard you start to see that, although it looks like things all move at once like a landslide, there are plenty of rocks small and large that tumble first. Hushed little whispers of what’s to come. Always a gear in the machine that wears down before the others or a thread that goes first and threatens to unravel a whole cloth. So many things made at the dawn of modern man have held up, thus far, surprisingly well but it’s funny the little things that didn’t. Like a Roman aryballos or a Greek flask hardened by 2000 or more years of existence. All the careful upkeep couldn’t stop their corks from turning into dust. What else is there to do but have an admiring look or two before the rest goes right along with it.
