A nurturing farmer in is danger of losing his crop of windmills when he struggles against the cyclical forces of nature. Created at the UCLA Animation Workshop, with music by Nick Fevola. This film was inspired while driving back from a trip to Palm Springs, when a friend said that it must take them forever to plant and grow so many windmills. I wrote down the title The Windmill Farmer for an idea to explore later, and about a year later I started developing it into a character and story. This film took 4 months to complete from the first boards until the final mix. Watch more films by Joaquin Baldwin: pixelnitrate.com Follow Joaquin Baldwin on Twitter: twitter.com/joabaldwin

**NO CONTENT FROM THIS FILM TO BE USED ON TV WITHOUT MY PERMISSION** In March 2013 snow fell unexpectedly heavy around the UK. For farmers it meant the loss of thousands of sheep and cattle buried under drifts reaching 12 feet or more. Incredibly some survived. Gareth Wyn Jones is one of those farmers affected. He tells us about a life in a farming family stretching back more than 350 years. Shot very simply on a Canon 600 with kit lens and Glidetrack shooter. Edited in Final Cut. It's not everyday you get to film one of Mother Nature's many mysteries. That's what happened when I hung out with a dingo breeder, who certainly had a few surprises including a birth and an impromptu music jam session with his dingos. This is a story about a man's love and passion for his Australian Dingos and how he has used this passion to come up with an unusual way of keeping wild dogs under control on his property. This video story was made for ABC Open's project "My Crazy Passion" with the assistance of the ABC Open North Coast Producer, Catherine Marciniak. John Cooper and his dingo pack, live at Nymboida, which is the upper reaches of the Clarence River country in Northern NSW. • Tanco 1320 Round Bale "Wrap and Stack" Wrapper

                04:05

                from TancoTV / Added

The 1320 EH is the latest model in the 1300 bale wrapper series. It retains the high performance, low maintenance, compact size, and versatility that have made the 1300 bale wrapper so popular with contractors and farmers. The big advancement of the 1320 EH is the unique, patented twin folding wrap arms. This design enables rapid wrapping and stacking on a compact machine in one process - vastly reducing time, labour and equipment. On the final turn of the wrapping cycle, the wrapping arms fold together bringing both film dispensers side by side, allowing the film from both spools to be cut and held by a single cut & start unit. As soon as the next cycle starts, the arms unfold to the conventional wrapping position. The twin wrapping arms are evenly balanced, allowing for high wrapping speeds, while eliminating the rocking motion associated with single arm machines. The new twin tower design maintains the compact and robust build of the 1300 Series, while creating a twin arm capable of high outputs -- all on a machine weighing only 700kgs. The new, more compact chassis and roller arm design produce very fast loading and unloading times, achieving an output comparable to any high speed wrapper. The additional benefit of the wrap & stack capability make the 1320 an ideal machine for contractors.

Together, we can change the way coffee is perceived, traded and prepared. It is our goal to revolutionize the second biggest commodity market in the world by selling green raw coffee beans directly from farmers to consumers - #FarmersBecomeFaces. In order to shift the roasting process to the customer, we developed the world‘s first roast-grind-brew coffee machine, which enables everyone to roast their own coffee. Just like that we’re disrupting the current value chain and are able not only to source high quality coffees for you, but also to finally pay the farmers fair prices. Green beans to black coffee - at a single push of a button. Save the date: Nov 12th. Bonaverde goes Kickstarter

We can no longer stomach our food system. 73% of Americans eat organic food, because they think it’s healthier. Is organic really better for us or just a marketing scam? When corporations went into the business and “organic” became a brand, everything changed. The philosophy and label grew apart. This new documentary looks beyond organic for practical solutions for me and you. Local farmer’s markets, school gardens, and urban farms are revolutionizing the way we eat.
