                  from Mohamed-El-Haddi Added 7 0 0

The C.P.R (Creative Process Renaissance) project, Mohamed-El-Haddi's latest art film series, explores the creative process that artists go through when making an art work, documenting their approach, aesthetics, questions, struggles and triumphs from start to end. Play, inspiration, forward, concepts, rewind, expand further, go deeper, never stop, play it over again...and share what you discover with the world. In VINNETTONOGRAPHY (2015), the third episode in Mohamed-El-Haddi's ongoing series in the C.P.R project, Family Carer Vinnette Campbell explores the making of her art work 'A Week In The Life Of Terence Campbell,' documenting the everyday life of her father, Terence Campbell , who has dementia, through a series of black and white photographs. In Vinnette's own words, 'as I'm caring for my father, why not document his life in some way [...] for the future when the time comes for me to reflect back on him and what I was doing for him at the time.' One of the aims of the project was to 'take photographs of my dad doing various things [...] that we do and take for granted and find fairly easy to do and straightforward [...] while it takes him a while.' The photographs become instant memories that allow the viewers to have exclusive access to Terence's world in which every little thing from putting on his socks to taking dishes to the kitchen proves to be a challenge 'for somebody with dementia, speech problems, slight walking issues but he was able to do all those things and I was able to photograph him doing them.' Vinnette genuinely relished in the creative process involved as 'it was fun to take the photographs, sieve through them, sort them out, put them together in a logical way that made sense for me and put them in a little booklet. That was all a nice challenge.'

What does it really mean to be a part of a church? It it just sitting in a pew, taking in all that you can? Maybe it means listening attentively to the sermon, or speaking with other believers. Or does it mean more? Come walk with us as we strive to see what our Creator means by being a part of the fellowship of believers.
