              This week Zoos Victoria released 20 Eastern Barred Bandicoots into Woodlands Historic Park. This 300 hectare reserve is now fox free thanks to new fences and much hard work by Conservation Volunteers and Parks Victoria staff. The Eastern Barred Bandicoot is listed as 'extinct in the wild' across Victoria and this release is one big step towards a brighter future for this super cute local species.
