Directed by Mauricio Baiocchi http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0047821/ Narrated by Stephen Fry http://stephenfry.com/ Music by Jesse Solomon Clark http://agentsdelfuturo.com/ "Cicada is a gift for one person and the world at the same time. I had thought that a gesture of kindness and love if made just right would resonate itself into many more such acts." -Mauricio Baiocchi, director Contact Mauricio Baiocchi---> info@cicadaprincess.com http://www.cicadaprincess.com/ Check out this Behind The Scenes of the scoring sessions: https://vimeo.com/60517269 While Cicada Princess was still in production, I started composing some themes based on the story. I visited the set a few times, so I had an idea about the look of film. I probably had a feature film's worth of music for this short. Once there was a locked edit it became clear that, although the story is kind of epic and operatic in scale, the score needed to provide a thread to tie together the quickly-moving story together. DOWNLOAD THIS MUSIC: http://trustmusic.com/florianbador https://florianbador.com . . I composed this music video to remind us the true point in life. It is a symphonic composition with choirs, piano and orchestra (violins, cellos and other strings, along with oboe, horn and other brass instruments) This soundtrack is dedicated to the children of the world. The goal is to highlight the poverty and injustice of the world in an artistic manner, because sometimes, where you were born matters. This HD video is a travel through nature and human beings. I made it like a trailer with some black & white and time lapse using the Linux software kdenlive. I also made shoots with my Canon EOS camera. The true point of life is not our iPhone, iPad, Pepsi or Coca-Cola... I wanted a subtle religious / divine / god color for this piece of music because as Henry Ward Beecher said, Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven. It is the real meaning of "Solemn" Lullaby., a Lullaby to wake us up! I hope you'll enjoy listening to it! - Florian Bador - film music composer - Santa Monica / Culver CIty (Los Angeles, California)

Filmmaker and Anthropologist Niobe Thompson teamed up with Composer Darren Fung to create a magnificent musical score for the upcoming CBC series The Great Human Odyssey. In an era when live-recorded orchestral scores are a dying breed, Thompson and Fung brought the Edmonton Symphony and ProCoro Canada to one of North America's premiere acoustic spaces: Edmonton's Winspear Centre. Over three days, over 70 classical musicians and a large team of sound recording engineers recorded a remarkable score, capped with a sold-out public performance. See what happened! The three-part series THE GREAT HUMAN ODYSSEY premiered in Canada on CBC-TV in February 2015, and will broadcast on PBS NOVA in the USA and around the world on major broadcasters later this year. Thirty years after "Koyaanisqatsi," Godfrey Reggio—with the support of Philip Glass and Jon Kane—once again leapfrogs over earthbound filmmakers and creates another stunning, wordless portrait of modern life. Presented by Steven Soderbergh in stunning black and white 4K digital projection, "Visitors" reveals humanity's trancelike relationship with technology, which, when commandeered by extreme emotional states, produces massive effects far beyond the human species. The film is visceral, offering the audience an experience beyond information about the moment in which we live. Comprised of only seventy-four shots, "Visitors" takes viewers on a journey to the moon and back to confront them with themselves. A Cinedigm release coming soon to theaters. • Minimal Tutorial "Overview"

                    from sonokinetic / Added

                    11.6K Plays / / 0 Comments

http://www.sonokinetic.net/products/classical/minimal With Minimal, Sonokinetic delivers the fourth installment in our current range of orchestral instruments. We have listened to our users, and built an entirely new system from the ground up, defining what we think is a revolutionary novel direction in orchestral pattern-based sampling. Minimal would suggest a particular music style, and many of the patterns available in this instrument are very well suited for that style. However, we’d like to stress that this is indeed a very flexible instrument, capable of enhancing a broad range of musical arrangements and compositions in a wide variety of styles. Where Minimal differs from libraries like Tutti and Vivace is in its section-based approach. All phrases are recorded per orchestral section and can be used separately or together and in any combination, allowing for a great deal of variations at your fingertips. The first thing that would strike you is the non-apologetic interface style without any gloss. Apart from this being a respectful nod to our Dutch art heritage on the outside, it also very much references the “form follows function” approach that Dutch design is famous for. There are no superfluous elements and we’ve arranged everything in an intuitive way. You have every control in one screen within an uncrowded workspace. You might not suspect it from just looking at it, but there are a lot of complex functionalities at your disposal from this one screen. Discover more about those in the detailed descriptions right here in the user manual and on the tutorial videos available on our website: www.sonokinetic.net. Recordings for Minimal took place in Zlin, Czech Republic, in the same hall and with the same team responsible for recording Tutti and Vivace. The performances have been edited with the same meticulous attention to detail and quality. Many innovative functions grace this instrument, mostly under the hood, as we believe that technology is at its best when you don’t notice it. One of the functions that might need a bit more introduction is the harmonic shift function. This element of Minimal can lead to great sounding results and also serve as a very rewarding inspirational tool. So please read and digest the part of this manual dedicated to that function. More visibly, and in lieu of popular request, we have found a way to greatly improve the score view. Despite the pixel restrictions of the Kontakt window we’ve managed to squeeze in a clear and accurate score view, although you can still order a digital full-scale copy of the score, if you so desire. We, at Sonokinetic BV, are very proud to introduce Minimal to you, and can’t wait to hear the amazing things you, our valued customer base, will produce with it. Sonokinetic has established a name as one of the best value & quality sample producers and with this product we’d like to underline that statement. We stick with our unbeatable pricing module and high quality sampling. We wish you the best inspiration and creativity.
 With warm regards,
The Sonokinetic Minimal Production Team Hosted by Reuben Cornell
