Shot by my grandfather on his Bell & Howell Filmo using 16mm Kodachrome film stock. This footage was taken a year after the California theme park opened. It was quite a surprise going through this and seeing my grandmother meeting Walt Disney himself! I've been doing my best to find out what they were shooting at the front of the park. So far I've been unsuccessful. Transferred to HD (1080PsF 23.98) myself off a Spirit and Color Corrected using a da Vinci 2k Plus. Slowed to 18fps to match the original film speed.

The previous film had such a positive response that I felt compelled to post the rest. In these short clips you see more of an interaction between my grandparents. As someone who never really knew his grandfather; these reels of film have really let me feel related to him and the rest of my family, too. Thank you to all the positive comments and support!

This is footage shot by my grandfather back in the mid to late 1950's. This features my grandparents, aunts, mother, and their neighbors. Clearly the children were not fond of the light source. I inherited tens of thousands of feet of 16mm about 8 years back and have only just found myself in the position to properly go through it all. Shot on a Bell & Howell Filmo 16mm Camera with Kodachrome film. I transferred this on a Spirit and Color Corrected using a da Vinci 2k Plus. I'm in love with the quality of this film stock and only wish I had an opportunity to shoot it myself. Music by Mike Baiardi. A Cover of The Ramone's "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)."

A short story assembled to test a roll of 16mm Tri-X film, though it's based on reality (still unemployed). Camera used was a Filmo 70DL. This was the last time it worked for me since the governor busted and now the camera runs only at full speed. Exposure was done using a gray card and spot metering it for mostly every scene. Seems to have given me ok exposure, though I'm not sure if this is correct since I may just be rendering everything as a mid-tone. If anyone cares to weigh in, I would greatly appreciate it.
