This is the music video for Wave Machine's track "The Greatest Escape We Ever Made", directed by Stuart Lanceley and produced by Token Films. For this video, I rediscovered the joy and agony of stop-motion animation. It's the reason I first got into film-making. I created a paper edit first, then shot the band with a Sony Z1 camcorder. I edited this footage together in Final Cut Pro and then exported every frame as a TIFF. These stills were printed and cut out. It was then re-shot using the digital stills function on a Canon HV30 video camera before all the stills were brought back into FCP once again. Et Voila! Hope you enjoy it. If you want to know more about the band, they have a free download and links to myspace, facebook etc. at http://www.wavemachines.co.uk Many thanks to the wonderful people who helped me with the epic amount of animation necessary, I couldn't have kept going without you! Thanks also to the band for doing so much printing and cutting out, well done to you all!  Stuart Thanks 25 times-per-second to: Scott Spencer, Fiona Turner, Sarah Sebastian, Ant Hickin, Callum Turner, Patrick McGowan, Libby Lanceley, Jose Diaz, Chris Tomlinson, Dino Deasha, Stephen Clarke, Melanie Gabriel and if there's anyone else i forgot to put your here let me know (i owe you a pint).

HAME, Scottish slang for home, sees Dave Hall featuring in his second web edit, this time joined by his friend, James Wright. This two part video sees them riding from Glasgow, Scotland and set out to tackle Crow Road. A notorious climb that starts in Lennoxtown and twists it's way 7 miles towards Gonachan Cottage. As this would be the last time I'd be working with Dave on UK soil for at least 18months, I felt that it was only right to add in a little extra at the end of the originally planned video. Dave's Sponsors: - The 5th Floor - Leader Bikes USA - Brick Lane Bikes Filmed with: - Canon EOS 5D MkII - Canon 24-105mm, f4 L - Olympus 50, f1.4 (Canon mount adapter) Special thanks to Chris Millar Mucis: AWOLNATION - Sail Cinematic Orchestra - That Home

This video was made by ManvsMachine for Nike to launch their new basketball shoe. I rigged and animated the floor, with Joe Winston helping out on floor animation when he wasn't busy doing awesome shoe animations. Design, direction and production by ManvsMachine.
