                Fitz Houstons 1,000 Punch workout, applied to focus mitts, in 6:13 and 7:23 w/blocks, is just as effective for training the muscle groups involved when you do the thousand punches shadow boxing. You are building endurance with each version. The workout consists of 200 backfists (100 ea. side), 200 jabs (100 ea. side), 200 hooks (100 ea. side alternating), 200 uppercuts (100 ea. side alternating) and 200 straight punches (100 ea. side alternating). At the end of the 1,000 punches, finish up with 100 up blocks, down blocks (100 ea. alternating) - 1200 total reps. A great workout.
