Behind the scenes: http://vimeo.com/3hund/behindthescenes The projection mapping "bioluminescent forest" is made by artists Friedrich van Schoor and Tarek Mawad. The artists spent six weeks in the forest fascinated by the silence and natural occurrences in nature, especially the phenomenon "bioluminescence". They personified the forest to accentuate the natural beauty by creating luring luminescent plants and glowing magical mushrooms that speaks volumes to any visitor that enters the minds of the artists through viewing "bioluminescent forest". Running time: 5:53 Stop Motion on location / greenscreen Directed by: Tobias Gundorff Boesen Animation by: Katrine Kiilerich, Frederik Villumsen, Christophe Peladan, Tobias Gundorff Boesen Light and Photography: Martin Bested, Andreas Berg 2010 The Animation Workshop My Bachelorfilm from The Animation Workshop. Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals. It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure. A little story about love & adventure. This project is not the best technical achievement for sure but I´m pretty happy with the final result. I realized that true inspiration comes from great experiences whether are good or not and great experiences are a consequence from things we love. There is a whole universe for you to be discovered and explored. Beautiful music from one of the best and most eclectic 2003 albums "Neveroddoreven" by one of my all time favourites: "I monster" get this album here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/neveroddoreven/id250400094 http://www.amazon.com/Neveroddoreven-I-Monster/dp/B000293NI0 This project was done during early 2013 for a school iniciative, this wasn´t or isn´t intended to be commercialized in anyway. www.maxsmith.tv The First in a series of short films, aiming to give viewers an intimate view of wild habitats across the U.K, without the use of narration or a definitive plot, allowing viewers to take what they want from the footage, illustrating as closely as possible what it is like to explore the habitat first hand. The next film will be shot on the Exe estuary in Devon, and will play host to an entirely different cast of wildlife & habitats. The film was shot in September 2013 in Argyll forest park. All footage was shot in raw on the 50D and 5D mkii - using the magic lantern hack.
