Ibne Safi is widely known for his immensely popular best selling series of spy novels, Jasoosi Duniya and Imran Series. Born in 1928 in Allahbad India, Ibne Safi began writing the Imran Series in Pakistan in 1955. Popular for their enthralling plots and enigmatic characters, these novels of mystery and suspense held an entire generation captivated for years. The Imran Series features the sharp detective, Ali Imran, (later known in the series as X2), who mastered the art of disguise and possessed the ability to dodge bullets. In everyday life Imran is seen as a flippant and naïve individual, whose acts of buffoonery deflect his rivals. Behind this guise his mind continues to tick as he solves case after case and overwhelms his adversaries. In Bhayaanak Aadmi, we meet the young and beautiful Anglo-Indian Burmese Roshi, who works in a hotel in a dubious neighbourhood, notorious for its unsolved murders and its reputation for being under the grip of a “terrifying man”. She encounters a handsome young man, conspicuous for his absurd antics and soon finds herself enmeshed in a series of intriguing events. Who is this young man? Can she trust him? Or does he belong to the gang of the “terrifying man”?

This is a small piece of the final project by Emmy Forss for the 2014 Motion Graphics course I gave at IED. I helped her a little bit with the final look, rendering a 3d logo and adding some small details, but all the design and creativity is by herself. I am very proud of the final piece, and of the evolution of her first proposal, until this one, that captivated the client, a Foundation that works helping victims of child abuse. You can follow Emmy's work here http://www.emmyforss.com/.

Per Nilson continues our teaching series, “Beautiful Outlaw,” which focuses on experiencing the fullness of Jesus. For many, Jesus has become a two-dimensional character. They read about Him in the Bible, and they understand a portion of whom Jesus is. However, these words rarely lead to a personal experience with the Son of God. Today’s message, “Scandalous Freedom” takes us into John 8:31-41, where we learn to apply the heavenly definition of freedom to our lives; the freedom found in submission...
