The Faithful is a two channel video installation originally shot on 16 mm film. On one wall a succession of men are posing alone in front of a mural in a leather bar. There are five men of different ages, body types and races. On the opposite wall, six men are posing in front of a pool table. Once projected in a gallery, the men will appear to be cruising each other from opposite sides of a virtual bar. Since the number of portraits is not the same on each wall, when the videos loop, the men will be flirting with a different partner. Documentation taken during "The Great Refusal: Taking on New Queer Aesthetics" exhibition at the Sullivan Gallery in Chicago.

26:00 | video | 2006 Directed by Frédéric Moffet A queer rewriting of the events surrounding the 1968 National Democratic Convention from the point of view of the controversial French writer. This “thief-video” combines disparate textual sources, contemporary reenactments of historical events and archival footage in order to relate the uneasy fusion of the French poet’s criminalized sexuality with late 60s American counter-culture.

0:47 excerpt of 7:30 | HD | 2011 In a celebrity-obsessed culture, filmmakers often exploit the downfall of a star to amplify the emotional undertones of the fictional films in which they perform. POSTFACE takes a look back at the filmography of Montgomery Clift whose private life and career spiral downward after a 1956 car crash that left his face scarred and partially paralyzed. Like an actor without a face, the video is an exploration of obsolescence, produced by means of analog tape manipulations.

4:38 excerpt of 14:00 | HDV | 2009 Adapted from a performance by Katrina Chamberlin and James Kubie, video directed by Frédéric Moffet In The Body Parlor, both man and sheep as combined sac- rificial bodies become subjects of biological investigation. In discovering new forms of healthcare (regenerative medicine) and tissue engineering (such as stem cell research), the body becomes sacrificial material for the greater purpose of a social good. The performers employ the material objects, either as products of or as extensions of the body as a way of exploring giving from one’s self in sacrifice.
