I recently shot some video in Franklin Park and decided to intersperse with stills from when the cages were still in use (1912-1958). I do not own the photographs and will take the video down if any rights are being violated. The photos were taken by Leslie Jones and can be found on the Boston Public Library's Flickr page. It's an amazing archive and if you appreciate Boston history you'll love it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/boston_public_library/ Special thanks to AdamCamera for supplying the camera equipment to make this project possible. AdamCamera is professional video equipment rental facility in Boston and can be reached through their website: http://www.adamcamera.com/

Video of the columbus Conservatory (Officially the Franklin Park Conservatory). The movie was shot using a canon eos 7D. I used my tamron 10-22mm wide angle lens for most takes, switching it out occasionally pulling out my 70-200mm Canon-l lens, for the close up of the butterflies. Edited and color corrected in FCP.
