    Hydrogen Assisted Combustion by HydroPhi Technology was selected as Finalist for presentation at Ocean Exchange 2014. The HydroPlantTM is a bolt-on fuel reformer that splits water and allows H2 and O2 gas to safely enter the air intake of any diesel engine or generator, thus improving combustion efficiency. HydroPlantTM enables a 10-25% improvement in fuel efficiency, as well as a 10-50% drop in GHG emissions. The HydroPlantTM solution uses a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolysis unit to split distilled water into hydrogen and oxygen, which are fed into the air intake of a diesel or gasoline engine. This technology eliminates the need for high-pressure hydrogen storage or hazardous chemicals while producing a stable, inexpensive alternative fuel source.                 I've been working on some different concepts to fuel delivery, stratified charge development of a homogenous material to which our already in-efficient ICE can utilize more of the potential from the internal chemical energy through a couple of processes. Including a device I've been working on that helps to disassociate the molecules from a high surface tension fuel base. Proof of concept is always a must. It also helps to be a machinist and understand a few other disciplines necessary to accomplish said goal(s). It's not quite there yet but I'm narrowing in on it pretty good at least where I have a working, consistent in my expectations of it and slowly implementing further ideas that will soon make it applicable to other engines. I already use some of my findings on my Turbo charged SV650 in which has proved well in fuel economy and reliability now for over 26,000 miles. You can see that here: https://vimeo.com/98162861
