In this episode, the Patagonia Study Abroad team took a week-long trip 8 hours north from our home base at Pucón Kayak Hostel to the Seven Teacups National Park, which is home to the infamous Rio Claro. We camped next to the put-in and boofed, plugged, and smiled our faces off for what seemed to be a week-long dream that we never woke up from. I have been sitting on my gopro footage of the trip for far too long and had to do something with it, so enjoy a little glimpse into the Church of the Rio Claro...

Scene from my trip to Iguazu Falls from Argentinean side. I did not go to the Brazilian side. The park on the Argentinean side is larger, has more trails, and gets you much closer to the garganta del diablo (devil's throat) than the park on the Brazilian side. Also, I didn't have a visa for Brazil, and was worried about immigration issues if I had crossed over to look at the falls from the other side. Recorded March 15, 2012.

(Portuguese: Cataratas do Iguaçu; Spanish: Cataratas del Iguazú) Waterfalls of the Iguazu River on the border of Brazilia and Argentina. The name "Iguazu" comes from the Guarani or Tupi words "y", meaning "water", and "ûasú", meaning "big". About half of the river's flow falls into a long and narrow chasm called the Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish or Garganta do Diabo in Portuguese). The Devil's Throat is U-shaped, 82 meters high, 150 m wide, and 700 m long (269×490×2,300 ft). Filmed with Canon PowerShot S100 Edited with iMovie Made on a Mac
