My wife and I entered the Tropical North Queensland Paradise Through Your Lens film competition and made the top ten finalists. TTNQ flew us, along with the other 9 teams, up to Queensland to film our stories. All expenses paid!!!!! It was surreal. We had a full week of filming in the most beautiful locations and had the opportunity to go diving about five times and managed to make an appearance on Channel 9's Today Show. Unfortunately I didn't win the grand prize, but Ellie and I are so grateful to have experienced such an incredible adventure. Voiceover - Shawn Lowe (myself) Gorgeous Blonde - Ellie Lowe (wife) Music by Anamog The Music Bed To checkout the other 9 finalists films go to exploretnq.com.au/ or YouTube youtube.com/user/ExploreTNQ/videos The winner, Jarrad Seng, did an incredible job! Also a huge thanks to everybody that took care of us and helped put this competition together to make the film possible: Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) - exploretnq.com.au/ Toursim Events Queensland (TEQ) - teq.queensland.com/ Qantas - qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/home/au/en Reef Encounter - reefencounter.com.au/ Frankland Islands Cruise - franklandislands.com.au/ Nautilus Aviation - nautilusaviation.com.au/ Green Island Resort - greenislandcairns.com/index.html Alamanda Palm Cove - lancemore.com.au/alamanda Shangri La Cairns - shangri-la.com/

Just connect an antenna to your computer's microphone input, and you can receive VLF (Very Low Frequency) radio signals! A sound card (or built-in sound chip) with a recording sampling rate of at least 96 kHz is recommended. Example of using this method to receive VLF signals from Russia and Europe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKSOoZ2vhvo SDR Sharp software (for Windows) to receive and record VLF (and many other) radio signals: http://sdrsharp.com/#download Similar SDR (Software Defined Radio) applications are available for Linux and Mac OS. The footage of this video has been shot in July 2014 on a one week trip on a live aboard from Cairns Australia. It was a fantastic week for the diving, but also for the people on board. The good mood of all the divers and the experienced and committed boat crew made it a great experience. Many thanks to: The Spoilsport crew - Trevor, Marcus, Ash, Ollie, Shona, Nathan, Froya, Jules, Brendon, Siana, Ben, Joel & Mike B., Music - Demia E. Clash, Diving gear - Jean-Michel at Ecodive.ca, Andrea my dive buddy and all the divers who appear on the piece. Reach out!
