The exhibition takes the viewer on a journey through the challenges Sikhs have faced from the beginnings of the Sikh Way, right up to the shocking events of recent history, the Sikh Genocide of November 1984. An estimated 15-30,000 Sikhs were killed, there are no definitive figures as even today mass graves are being uncovered. For the last 28 years Sikhs all over the world have gathered in annual remembrance of the tragic events of November 1984. Despite numerous commissions, inquiries and independent reports that identify the role of senior politicians, police officers and individuals in the organised carnage, justice has not been delivered. One step to ensuring that these atrocities are not repeated is to spread awareness.

This short was made for National Sikh Youth Federation. NSYF is an independant NGO and Think Tank that works with individuals and organisations in the Sikh Community. Their primarily focus is on research and education of Sikh History. After the assassination of Indian PM Indira Gandhi in 1984, Delhi saw tens of thousands of Sikhs murdered in a systematic genocide. Neither men, women nor children were spared as police, politicians and celebrities took to their respective platforms to encourage the atrocities against Sikhs. Over two decades later, justice remains to be served. Music: "The Long, Long Epitaph (Futurity Suite)" by Tom Fahy (http://tomfahy.org/)
