by Arthur Lipsett — 1964 A wry commentary on machine-dominated man, the man to whom nothing matters, who waits for chance to call his number. This short is an abstract succession of unrelated views of the passing crowd. It is often cited as an influence on George Lucas's Star Wars and his conceptualization of 'The Force'. • A Crude Hope - Star Wars Mockumentary

        from Thomas Wood / Added

Luke Jones, Jedi or Jed-lie? Luke Jones continually maintains that he has Jedi powers and is claiming money from the government for his religion of "Jedi". In this documentary, world class journalist, Sally Smith, and her camera crew follow Luke throughout his daily life. She aims to uncover the truth behind his behavioural actions and if he is falsely claiming money from the government. One of my college projects from 2011, written; produced and directed by myself. The brief was to create either a documentary or mockumentary. I would like to say massive thanks to everyone that helped out on the project and extra special thanks to Paper House Newsagents, Doncaster for letting us film in their shop. Pre-production commenced September 2010. Principal photography commenced Tuesday 7th December 2010. Principal photography wrapped Sunday 26th December 2010. THX1138, a fiction update 2011 by AGF For a serial of performances for Live Soundtracks, AGF composed a new score for the movie THX1138 (1971 George Lucas). Antye Greie: "The chosen movie is a fascinating piece of art with a great original soundtrack. I composed a poetic remix, a sonic interpretation of the 21st century. This sci-fi movie was made when I was born by the "then newcomer", today one of the most influential sci-fi directors ever." How does George Lucas' vision or paranoia of future call back today? How has humanity evolved? Will the horror and cruelty stay fiction for ever or become reality. A thoughtful audio film proposal by AGF.
