                    The Minor in Global Health Studies at Northwestern University is designed to bring an international and comparative perspective to the study of human health, drawing on such diverse fields as anthropology, sociology, economics, and policy studies. The Global Health Minor is open to students in any discipline or college. Over the past few years, the program has developed numerous innovative, interdisciplinary courses that bring together undergraduate and graduate students from different colleges and departments. Growth and interest in the Program has led to a level of expansion that has drawn international attention. We offer opportunities for students to study, conduct research, and gain hands-on experience in Chile, China, Cuba, France, Mexico, South Africa, and Uganda.
