By Jamie Drummond When one reads through David Rosengarten's Wikipedia page it's hard not to be impressed. From his lengthy stint as contributing editor/restaurant critic at Gourmet magazine, through his many other writings (including him penning a number of bestselling books), to his eight year tenure as host of the Food Network's successful Taste series, David has obviously had a lifetime of food and wine experiences (and then some.) And so I was absolutely delighted when he agreed to record a brief podcast one early morning in Santorini, looking out over Ia and the Aegean sea... goodfoodrev.com

Working a Wine Wednesday at the Pop Up Restaurant Residence is hard work. You don't eat and they pay you with booze. As a result my credibility is called into question in this video as I struggle to find a link to a story about a Greek Wine winning a women only wine tasting competition, amid a room of over-excited, drunk diners. The Greek wine we opened on the night wasn't bad: it drew mixed reviews, as did my shirt. But give the Greek some time to grow: people would have been similarly apprehensive about wine from Portugal until a few years ago. If you know of any good examples of Greek wine, let me know and I'll get it in and swill it down.
