2,935,935 - Google Video 2008 - Google Music Videos are THE important way for Bands to Blast Plays and Get their Music heard in Cyberspace and "22nd Street" is the Song that Los Angeles' Greenhouse Effect use to Get maximum plays on the Web ! Equal parts U2, David Bowie, The Cure, The Alarm, and Morrisey, This track is an amazing Stunner on the Net for G.e. what with it's busy active Guitar work from Clark Haggins. "I wrote, produced, mixed, and played ALL of the instruments on '22nd Street' except for the bass by Ted ( Bassist_Rick_Carmody ) " Says Haggans. The atmospheric and ambient Song is such a classic of computer culture as it lumbers and moves along as if a Modern Rock Emo classic, hitting you with psychedelic moods yet modern rock textures. Carefully guitar layered by Clark Hagins and Producer Andrew "Dice" Houston in 1991 in the South Bay Studio 'Accessive Light and Sound' in Harbor City California. Haggans says that he painstakenly worked increibibly hard on the difficult but extremely pleasurable track into the night with Carmody and Houston, aggressively mixing and remixing the Song to indie rock perfection; "22nd Street is one of G.e's Proudest moments,....its a song that displays clearly that I wanna be one of the best of all time and I damn near achieve it here !! This song is a classic right there with "Brandy" and "It Ain't Easy" for atmospheres..." Up until September of 1990, Haggins had been the Drummer of the three piece Redondo Beach Band when it sported Monster Grunge Master Guitarist Phil Keegan up front but the group mutually parted ways with Keegan, allowing Haggins to not only play the drums in the studio but to also overdub his Pricelesss unique guitar style and textures. "Recording 'Going Legit' was a very pleasurable experience for Greenhouse Effect back in january and Feb of 91" Says Haggins "It was just two guys in Me and Carmody ,...you had one guy who just did all the bass and another guy who did everything else and Andy Producing,...we made studio magic ,..for live play, we hired one of Southern California's Greatest Drummers in San Pedro's Martin Silva ,..the guy is an amazing Drummer ,..and we also briefly played with Greg Tarpley back there ,..Both are masters of Percussion ,..the G.e. project became alot similar to Genesis and Phil Collins (Laughs) ,..the way we recorded n' all ,..except we're way better and more interesting than them !! (Laughs)" - Clark Haggins and Greenhouse Effect rock out hard with "Irie Bob", a 1992 Song that has grown into a classic of the web and seems to be a Song that has influenced the likes of Beck, Cake, and Weezer. "I just saw Weezer at that Del Mar Horse Racing Track in San Diego and Weezer is a band I respect ,... I don't like too many of the alternative bands after 1991 But I have admiration always for such a Great nice guy Like Rivers Cuomo and Pat Wilson too from Weezer" Says Haggins. Hagins attended the Weezer Show at Del Mar San Diego on August 6, 2011 and described the horse culture place as wild and "So bizarre of a venue for Rock n Roll" - "The Parking at Del Mar is aweful,...You get stuck in this dirt area near the i-5 Freeway where there are no reflector coat guys or gals there to lead you out,..its all ab Lib from there ! ,..up there in the dirt ,... I found the best way to drive out of Del Mar is to get under those tunnels and then you can go out there by where that Dennys is or Am Pm Mini mart 'err whudeverr that then goes North to the i-5 ,..its a 'hella aweful parking set up ,..and you have to walk for miles ,..me and my wife walked forever,..and she walks SLOW and the smell of Horse shit and fertilizer like stuff is everywhere - still it was fun !!" Says Higgins. "Our Songs are such an influence on major Labels like Geffen Records and my ideas too for concerts that I threw long ago at Wilson Park in Torrance CA seem to be the foundation for a show at such a weird place like Del Mar,..i know now that so many people enjoy my music and recognize me where ever me and my wife go ,..its ok ,..they can come up and talk to me at a concert ,..I am 46 years old and I'm just there to have fun ,..just like everyone else,... tonight's show was awesome" - "Irie Bob" from November 1992 and with it's fuzzy bass line , distorted guitar, and driving keyboards is an early Emo Song classic that seemed to come out of nowhere for G.e.; "That Song was entirely experimental" Says Haggans "That being said, ...it completely sounds Like G.e." Says Higgins. The repetitive distorted bass by Rick Carmody makes the song an epic. HAGGANS Says that his goal is to write tons of stuff about G.e. - blogging virtually every intimate informative detail of the legendary internet band; " My goal is almost practically to piss people off and get them angry with blogs ,..it seems like the more people hate G.e. ,..the more they end up liking G.e ,.. slowly over time, we become everybody's favorite band ,..they like reading ( and laughing at ) all the shit about G.e. in the blogs ,..the key to success on the web is a ton of over-information ,..thats what we've found that works - to Perfection !!!!" - ROCK CITY PRODUCTIONS BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. 2011.

69,034 Views - Youtube Video - " 3/4 " is the 1989 track where Greenhouse Effect arranges the song into a weird Time Signature - hence the name. The lyrics of this song are very beautifully Sad as Clark Haggins writes a tune about missing out on the possible love of one's Life due to apathy and maybe alcohol. "3/4" is pretty much a Clark Hagins arranged song and from the drums although this certainly is a "Phil Keegan on Guitar Era" Classic G.e. tune. The Pre-Emo stylings here can certainly tug at your heart and the "Captain Beyond influenced" arranging makes this one a stunner for the Redondo beach Three Piece internet Legends.

98,735 Views - Youtube Video - Greenhouse Effect with the Very melodic and atmospheric "It Ain't Easy" which is a particular favorite of Clark Haggans. This song sat on a cassette for 16 Years never-heard til Hagins rediscovered it in 2008 ! "I found that tape amongst tons of others in an old tape box marked 'Demos and ideas 1992" and when I read "It Ain't Easy" on it I was like 'WTF is this ??" Says Haggans. "Thats when i realised that over all the years, I had completely forgotten about the track ! ,..When I played the Song, I was stunned at the melody and Songwriting and the Production and Mix Sounded Pretty damn good and passable so i knew I had to get it up into the Net,..but the first thing that I did was Copyright it with Washington." The forgotten Song has turned out now to be one of G.e's best and Haggins instantly remembered all of the details of the recording Process of the tune with Studio engineer Bill Krodel back in Late 1992 at El Segundo California's Jet City Sound Studio; "It Ain't Easy" was a Song that I had written at the Condo in Playa Del Rey Calif. about the same time as "Addicted" and "Misogynistia ( Shes A Bitch....And Then You Live)",...I suddenly even remembered writing the song and that how I thought back then that it was such a Good One !!,...Don't ask me how this one slipped my mind and I forgot about it but I imagine it's because in early 1993, I had "Offcially" Given up on all music and didn't really care anymore,..I was turning 28 years old and in those days that meant it was over,...a whole buncha shit, I just packed up and put away into boxes in Late 1992 and early 93' and I never saw any of the shit again until the 2000's,..... I remember, it was this super frustrating thing getting rejected by all the Labels - indie or major - for "Brandy" and all that other Great shit ,..because they were all such Great Songs and I knew it ,...I didn't have any connections with the Music industry or really know anybody in there ,..except for maybe Craig Aaronson,... and thats the way the Music Biz works ,..if you don't first know someone,..then the odds are low that you'l be discovered and thats exactly what happened to me and Greenhouse Effect,... We just got lost in the shuffle way back then ,.." - "It Ain't Easy" now today in 2010 and 2011 works as an internet Modern G.e. classic right there with "Brandy" and along the successful lines of "Star", White Black, and others for Haggins. "It gets it's listens and it sells it's itunes" Says Haggaans. ROCK CITY PROMOTIONS BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS.

4,293,035 Views - Youtube Videos 2005 - Clark Haggins and Greenhouse Effect Blast the Biggest Video plays on the Planet and the three piece band is celebrated on the web as Haggins says he uses much of the Money he earns in Cyberspace for "The Simple things in Life" Like Shopping at Stater Brothers Groceries Store in His San Diego community; "If I can sell enough itunes and CdBaby stuff to take my wife out to the movies or buy Microwave Dinners....it means a lot to me,..I Thank God,..we really live on "The Grid" where I clean Swimming pools for a Living and we pay electrical bills and various insurances ,..and all that shit ,...its a really silly little life and its a bummer when i could have been a real Musician on tour if somebody would just have given me my chance,...but oh well, I thank the Lord for what-evverrr I got ,..i'll take it,.." Haggans says that he recently discovered the Music of Toro Y Moi an American Emo Band; "I sorta like Toro Y Moi because they have this 1960's vibe and some of their songs remind me a little bit of G.e's Songs Like "Addicted", Irie Bob, and "Ripping Reason",..I read where it said that the guy is only like 24 and he was born in 1986 and I just Laughed ,..in 1986, I was already 21 and recording shit Like "Magic Fingers" back in the South Bay...I think that in today's pretty shallow empty world that 24 and being born in 86' is simply justa bit too young to really know about Brian Wilson and Pet Sounds ,..it sorta like when lady Ga Ga says shes into the 80's and Bowie ,..thats just fuckin' silly man ,..Lady Ga Ga is justa child ,..she was born in 1986 so she couldn't possibly know anything ,..She couldn't really know about David Bowie ,..or atleast like say ,...the way I do ,..she couldn't possibly know about albums like Diamond Dogs ,.,..Lady Ga Ga was four years old when Bill Clinton was elected,..so its just fucking stupid,...She just needs to keep her dumb mouth shut and leave it at that ,..and I MEAN ABOUT EVERYTHING !! SHES' a little douchebag ,.. I really don't like to hear any kids from today talk about David Bowie, Brian Wilson, or the Beatles, man,..because you almost 'have to' be from those times way back then ,..you have to be born back in the 60's or really even the 50's to really know about rock n roll music,..or even Pop culture ,...I like the fact that Lady Ga Ga said she likes Airbourne from Australia though - she got that one right on the money !!! AIRBOURNE RULES ,..THEY SOUND JUST LIKE EARLY DEF LEPPARD !!!!!" Haggins says that artists like Toro Y Moi are a good start for bringing back a 60's vibe but that Labels should sign older artists now who are 30 and up ,..simply now out of necessity and forget the money aspect in the name of importance for art ,.. ; "Music sucks now,..its really boring and Predictable ,... The Foo Fighters are a really shitty empty band example ,... Dave Grohl's eyes are lifeless ,..just like that creep in Green Day ,...these are empty predictable people who shouldn't be making our music ,..we need people who really have suffered ,..who really are lonely and have no friends,.... who really are sad and gifted ,...these are the people who should be making our music ,..not some jock like Dave Grohl ,..and not some dork like the left-wing jerk from Green Day ,... The only ever good thing about Dave Grohl was Kurt Cobain and Kurt wasn't even really that good or talented and He hated Grohl anyway ,..I like music that is diverse and moves around from style to style and is different every time like the Beatles were ,...that just doesn't exist anymore today" Says Haggins. Haggins says he enjoyed the Superbrand Surf Movie "Sorry We're Open " where he heard some Toro Y Moi and other artists; "I was supposed to be in that video with "Brandy" as the opening song,...I've been in a few surf movies with G.e. and they are important rock music vehicles.." - ROCK CITY ENTERTAINMENT - BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS.

1,132,095 Views - Vimeo Videos 2009 - Super Well known Popular internet Rockers Greenhouse Effect are always the talk of the web as these Los Angeles Rockers absolutely Dominate where ever they Go in cyberspace !; "The way i was raised,... everything about me,...the way that we look ,...everything about The Greenhouse Effect is interesting to millions of People" Says Clark Higgins in March 2009; "We're a fabulous sensation and it just grows and grows everyday !!,...I know it will never stop ,..but we really do wanna be the kings of the web ,..and we've done it consistently for over ten years now ,..other bands look to us,...they all know that we're Number One" Says Higgins of the Los Angeles Power rock three piece. Haggans and Legendary Guitarist Phil Keegan have become the types of internet celebrities to rival Perez Hilton, Lisa Nova, and Tila Tequila; "But there is a lot of bullshit out there that has zero talent,...Tila Tequila has nothing and you look at a piece of crap like Kelly Clarkson ,...She can't even sing at all ,.. she sucks and she knows it" Says Haggins. Haggins' Great Singing voice effortlessly blows away all the competition around him and he says that his secret deadly weapon was "Growing up and listening to a lot of early David Bowie Albums'; "Hearing Hunky Dory and songs like "Maid of Bond Street" and "When I Live my Dream" changed me forever,..." Says Higgins "I really enjoy Dusty Springfield and Dionne Warwick ,...I think they gave me tremendous singing talent.." On songs such as "Brandy" and "Dead End Street", Haggins simply crushed it !! "Shes A Bitch.....And Then You Live" sports Haggins singing in an extreme high octave Top C where his voice hits high notes to rival Geddy Lee of Rush to go with some Great Guitar playing; "We've made a lot of money on the web and other bands seek to follow the blazing path of the Mighty G.e." Says Haggins; "We're web masters who get a lot of traffic and we know the way !! We know how to do it !!,.... we've been doing this shit consistently since 1997 now !! 93 Great melodic songs stand as a testimony to the supreme talents of G.e. and guitarist Phil Keegan calls the band; "The time of his musical Life" ; "Working with the Greenhouse Effect was amazing,....the Shark is an amazing drummer and singing talent,..but truth is he can do it all,...he can do what-ever he wants" Says Keegan who has played in over 20 bands amongst them Seattle Rockers Roughpuppy. Keegan also has shown reservations at the Shark's motives; "The Shark steps on alot of toes and he can be ruthless,...he'll intentionally try to wipe out videos by other bands or just silly videos on the web that he doesn't like,..ya know,..those videos with cat's farting,...I guess Clark the shark doesn't like those (Laughs),.... He's kind-of a weird guy and if he doesn't like the competition, he may try to destroy it !! Roughpuppy has been an explosive and exciting Project for the aging 47 year Old Keegan as it displays the same powerful brilliant guitar he used in G.e. long ago to crush other bands and is so prevalent today on the net; "I think that Flipper is the kind of musical genius that is rare,.... he is the most talented and brilliant guitarist that I have ever seen ,...and if I ever make good money at this ,..the guy is going to live well off royalty checks every week (Laughs)" Says Haggins "But I will pay myself first (Laughs again)" / "The White Black Song" controversial though it is ,..is the March 1991 classic that blasts G.e. to some fine web traffic virtually every day on the web; "We're simply a great band with melodic song writing that is rare and missing today" Says Higgins "We may sound a bit 70's ,..but I grew up on great Elton John and Harry Nilsson songs like the "Theme from Midnight Cowboy" one "Everybody's talkin",.... we put a lotta big melody into the music !!" Haggans spends his days cleaning Swimming pools in San Diego's North County area of Oceanside California and where-ever he goes, G.e. is always the talk with People; "I don't have a lot of time to talk about G.e." Says Higgins "People at commercial swimming pools seem to enjoy my music and I'm always asking any of them if they have a real music industry connection ,..because all I wanna do is get one of my songs like "Brandy" into a movie the same way that Harry Nilsson did with Midnight Cowboy,.....I know that I'm never gonna get a record deal at 47 years old,....but I can still do something with a movie or TV show ,...my goal is just to be heard in the background of a movie ,....I've mailed our Cd's into some radio stations - but they won't play it,.... the music industry is all about Payola and who has the most money and best Lawyers and shit ,..its all fake ,...they promote crappy shit Like Justin Beiber,....when all i wanna do is make real music like Cat Stevens man !! The Eagles Don Henley has already said all this about the music industry ,..they are all just phony bean counters ,.... and they must be pretty stupid if they can't see how brilliant G.e. is" ROCK CITY ENTERTAINMENT BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. 2010.

Bmi. / Mega Popular internet rock band Greenhouse Effect of Los Angeles features the unmatchable Songwriting and Voice of Guitarist Clark Hagins. "Shes A Bitch....And Then You Live' (Misogynistia) as well as the "White Black Song" and "Brandy" Propel G.e's Mighty Web Traffic daily since 2001. Haggins calls his group a "Mellow" Sounding band with Light guitars heavily influenced by albums Like the Who Tommy and Love's "Forever Changes"; "Our style of music is lacking in today's world of screaming and hip hop,...we bring back simple mellow melodies like the Buffalo Springfield." Greenhouse Effect succeed well in cyberspace as Haggins calls his band that broke up back in November 1992 the "Precursor to Coldplay"; "I use my life and experience of growing up in a dysfunctional family with people that detest each other to extremes very well" Says Haggins "I come from a family of 9 kids and for the longest time, I was the last until my sister Rachel was born in November 1976,.....alot of my songs are mellow rock but then the lyrics are all twisted and agro and fucked up,....the whole thing is a perfect representation of me.....by the way, I think Coldplay sucks - they don't do it right..." - "Shes a bitch...and then you Live" and "Brandy" are probably the two biggest G.e. Songs online outside of "White Black" and Phil Keegan's 1989 classic "Six Feet Under" which is a brutal and accurate attack on the music industry; "Its a damn shame about our music and recording industries in North America,... the fact is they sign sucky bands with no talent and i know people are sick of me sayin' shit online but people like Eminem and Fred Durst should 'never' have had record deals in the first place - they destroy art ,..just walking by,.." Haggins continues; "And I'm not gonna shut up ,..NEVER,....until they start signing good bands like the Who and Tommy and 'Whos Next' and 'Quadrophenia' again,...then I'll fuckin' never shut up ,...or they could atleast find a Jim Croce or Harry Nilsson..." Haggins calls Keegan's "6 Feet" probably the biggest influence on Haggins online experience; "When Flipper poured his heart and soul into those words in 6 Feet, it stunned me,...it was so damn good, I got jealous,....I wanted to write songs like THAT ,...AND he nailed the Record Labels and all of their politics accurately EXACTLY ,.." Hagins' classic "Brandy" has easily become one of the Most likable and recognizable Songs Of Cyberspace as it's Youtube plays surpassed 3,000,000 Views in 2006; "We became extremely popular at Youtube and Myspace in 06' and '07 but people demand a new record from today or they say we suck and we can't keep relying on the all the old hits and shit,...I'm an old man now,..its over.." Says Haggins "They got all the old records to enjoy,...thats it.." Greenhouse Effect celebrate a bizarre and very unique sound that is all their own and Haggans hopes to keep selling itunes for a long long time; "G.e. will never stop,...we got catchy material and People like it.."
