The video shows how Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) can be imported to Electronic Health Record hubs (Civerex e-Hub). e-Hubs benefit member clinics by allowing them to access/download consolidated patient EMR (Electronic Medical Record) data recorded by patients, clinics, hospitals and lab test facilities. The main benefits for clinics are improved quality of care as a result of increased staff efficiency, improved clinical decision support, decreased patient wait times, and a reduction of duplicative testing. The benefits for hospitals and lab test facilities are the ability to send all results for large patient populations to the e-hub as opposed to sending results to individual clinics. The benefits for patients are portal access to their individual EMRs plus the ability to access a services menu that allows patients to make requests and receive responses.
