    • S1 Lifer Helmet Vs. Soft Foam Helmet (Helmet Testing Lab)

There is no question about it... the S1 Lifer Helmet is the way to go. If you are wearing a soft foam helmet and hit your head from more than 6.5 feet or 14 mph you will get a severe concussion and could possibly have a traumatic brain injury or die. Over the last few years some of the top Skate and BMX pros have suffered TBI's (Traumatic Brain Injury) while wearing soft foam helmets (not S1 helmets thankfully). And alot of the Roller Derby players have suffered severe concussions while wearing the non-certified soft foam helmets. The soft foam helmets don't protect your head enough in the case of a decent slam. S1 highly recommends wearing the S1 Lifer Helmet. S1 wants everyone to know the facts and the truth about soft foam helmets because it is important information. www.s1helmets.com facebook.com/s1helmets #s1helmets

The S-One Lifer Helmet meets the US CPSC Helmet Safety Standards for Skateboarding, BMX and Roller Skating Helmets. The S-One Lifer Helmet is one of the best fitting and most protective helmets on the market. CPSC Certification / Skate Helmet Test: Drop Height is 2.02 meters @ 6.2 Meters Per Second The CPSC Test simulates a 6 ft slam and/or a 14 mph crash In order to pass the test the helmet must reduce the impact energy to under 300 G's. Note: soft foam non-certified helmets don't even come close to passing the CPSC test. Hockey helmets cannot pass the CPSC test either) Ask for the Lifer at your local skate or bike shop or buy one at s-onestore.com
