With the release of Photomatix 4 Public Beta and the inclusion of HDRSoft's Ghost Removal tool, you can now feel more confident in your ability to remove any moving elements before tone-mapping your HDR image begins. I've received a ton of questions about how to effectively use this feature and so I put together a screencast where I show you how I use the tool to rid my images of those unsightly ghosts. I also spend a little bit of time discussing the importance of maintaining a consistent color space between your image applications.

This is a short test I shot outside my house of a HDR timelapse. I have more to do for an upcoming job so this just let me know it could be done relatively quickly. Total time to shoot process and cut together was 4 hours. This includes taking a 1 hour dinner break.

The internet compression (mp4) seems to suck out a whole lot of the HDR sharpness :( :) (Also I shot in JPEG Mode Instead of RAW -- apparently that brings on the halo effect?) Anybody else have any other flicker removal solutions for a Mac User?
