Soundtrack is a significantly cutdown version of Saeglópur by Icelandic group Sigur Rós. Find the track here: http://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/saeglopur/id79870523?i=79870542 I highly recommend their whole discography.

A small documentary film. Selkolla was a kind of a mixture of a half-troll and a ghost that made people afraid of travelling in the area she stayed for centuries. This film is her story. The storytelling, directing, filming , script and all other work is made by Sigurdur Atlason. One man, the camera, the story & the landscape. Other folkstories from Strandir, NW Iceland are in project. I would like to encourage everyone who see this film to leave a comment if possible. Thank you.

Welcome to our impressions of the West Fjords in Iceland. A fantastic region in Iceland. The journey starts in Stykkisholmur, where a ferry called Baldur drives to the West Fjords every day. In the West Fjords the journey goes over Latrabjarg, Dynjandi, Pingeyri, Isafjördur to Holmavík and ends in Djúpavík. Wo took us 4 days for this route, but you will need much more time, to see all the beautiful landscapes and sceneries. Very impressive! The shots were taken with a Panasonic GH1 (stock lens 14-140) and a Panasonic TM300. All shots were captured and edited in FCP.
