1. "Made From The Heart"

    from Kerry Carruth Added 48 0 0

This is the story of one man named Frank, who now lives in his car. Frank had a successful career and a honorable life. Today he is in his 70's and homeless. Frank inspired me when he refused my offer to give him a few dollars. He said, "Sometimes people will just throw money through the window and walk away, so I simply put their dollars in a special place in my wallet...and then give it to a family in need". This movie is dedicated to Frank and his American Spirit. I hope Frank will inspire you as well.

        • The Veteran Barber

About Me After having a rewarding career in the military and then in the logistics field, I discovered I have another calling, HAIR! I became a professional master barber. Although at this time I’m losing my hair due to male pattern baldness, in my heart I know there is a cure. But until that day arrives, my hair will slowly disappear. I also came to realize that there are other men with the same problem as mine. Additionally, as older barbers retire there are not enough barbers within my age group to replace them. With these two issues in mind, the question becomes does a mature man want a barber that can’t keep his pants off the ground? The fact is that barbers who choose to sag their pants in a barber shop can only use one hand while cutting a client’s hair and simultaneously use their other hand to hold their pants up! While witnessing this dilemma, I thought to myself “no way!” So I went to barber school to help fulfill the gap/need of mature men needing professional barber services. The clients I serve are looking for an old-fashioned barber while also showing interest in the younger generations needs as well. My mission is to build relationships while uniting both younger and more mature clients through lasting relationships Also, another calling of mine is to serve the needy in the community who can’t afford to get their haircut. It is my mission to help the less fortunate when times are down. By helping those in need the return is much greater and the gift of giving may be passed on to the next individual. About the Campaign My mission is to create a mature and welcoming barbershop to serve our community. With your support, I can offer the community a location to come and relax and receive the quality service they deserve. As a licensed barber, I specialize in precision cuts, and old fashioned straight razor shaves and if you want your hair washed and a facial you can get that also. When the campaign is funded with your support I will start the process of purchasing the following equipment:
