What happens when cardistry meets the GoPro HDhero2? - A fusion of technology and art with an extreme perspective. This unique cardistry video features Andrei Jikh and was shot completely with the tiny GoPro HDHero2 camera. The majority of the shots have the camera either mounted to Andrei's body or on a makeshift helmet rig. This is something I have wanted to do for years and I finally decided to grab a GoPro and just do it in a day. Some behind-the-scenes footage at the end of the clip. Cardistry by: Andrei Jikh Directed/edited by: Homer Liwag Custom camera mounts by: Homer Liwag and Paul Gordon Original music by: James Grote at www.brainfevermusic.com Shot in the beautiful ghost town of Nelson, Nevada Thanks to Patrick Kunvatanagarn, Michael Herp, Paul Gordon, Claudia Alvarado and, of course, Andrei Jikh for their support. May the 4th be with you... What do you get when an Indiana Jones fan from New Jersey meets a Star Wars aficionado from Cincinnati? We are all still trying to figure that one out. All we know is that there are lots of lightsabers around their house and their wedding rings look like movie props. This is not your typical wedding video - rather an abstract "short film around a live event" inspired by David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick. The Circle is Now Complete was filmed in Las Vegas and at an actual Star Wars location in Death Valley National Park. A proprietary slow-motion camera at 1000-1250 frames per second was used to captured some of the imagery. Homer and Aimée wanted a cinematic journey that fit their personalities as well as their love for their favorite movies. There are no boring speeches, sappy embraces or chicken dances. They didn't want to take themselves too seriously. Homer and Aimée met at Caesars Palace on October 31, 1999. They decided to make it all official at the same place they met, some 13 plus years ago. A leap of faith perhaps. Special thanks to the amazing team that helped create this film and, of course, the incredible family and friends that joined Homer and Aimée in Las Vegas for their special day. • Brokeback Magic Mountain - Original Edit

In the spring of 2006, David Copperfield's Executive Producer and Magic Consultant, Chris Kenner, hosted the first-ever Magic Film Festival at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. To add some fun to his presentation, Chris conceived a spoof on the popular Brokeback Mountain movie trailer. Chris and Homer have been friends since the late 1980's and their Brokeback Magic Mountain trailer received a standing ovation from the thousands of magicians in attendance. This is the original editor's cut shown that evening. For the non-magicians watching this video, the sleight-of-hand move shown at 2:07 is called a "Pass", which resulted in the biggest laugh that night in front of a huge audience of magicians! Another big laugh (at 2:34) was because Homer vaguely resembles magician "Shoot Ogawa", and is sometimes mistaken for the Japanese performer. Enjoy...

Promotional video for The Islands of Copperfield Bay - filmed and edited by Homer Liwag in the fall of 2008 and recently updated in 2010. Footage from this piece was featured on the premiere episode of Travel Channel HD's Forbes Luxe 11 show. HAL productions shot all the footage as well as color correction and editing. All the footage was acquired with one camera, one assistant, portable camera support and a small lighting kit. The challenge was to capture the beauty of the location without exposing the ongoing renovations at the time - which was often just outside the camera frame. Please visit TheIslandsofCopperfieldBay.com for more of Homer's video and photography from this exclusive private island paradise.
