              Blending in with nature comes easy to this homestay. Constructed without disturbing the flora and fauna too much, the cottage is designed to make you feel one with the surroundings. The Rooms The rooms at this Homestay are earthy colored, with well-crafted wooden floors and ceilings. There are four spacious rooms (all with attached bathtub and 24-hr running hot water) from which three rooms are facing the cardamom plantation and one is facing the garden. Two Rooms on the first floor have wooden flooring, wooden ceiling, with a common deck space. Two Rooms on the ground floor have wooden flooring and private balcony. Food All meals prepared at this homestay are home cooked and Kerala dishes are the main specialty served here. Guests can avail of both veg and non veg lunch and dinner at an extra cost of Rs.150 to Rs.200 per person per meal on prior notice. BBQ candle light dinner can also be availed of at an extra charge. If required, guests can also order meals from a multi cuisine restaurant located just 100 mts away. Activities There are rare wild birds with colourful plumage that sing sonorously, all around the resort premises. A great way to enjoy the landscape is to take a walk through the famed tea gardens nearby or along the evergreen trees under the shade of which the cardamom is cultivated.                 The owners plantation is a haven not only for birds that frequent it, but also guests who come here time and again. Rooms In the premises there are two cottages replete with luxury and an individual room that is basic, quiet and comfortable. The cottages overlook a dense thicket of fruits, spice and arecanut trees and the only sounds you can hear sitting in the balcony are those of different birds and insects. Food Meals are served in the owners house and are usually traditional kerala cuisine. Lunch/dinner can be provided at an extra cost of approximately Rs.250 to 300 per person per meal. Pure coffee grown in the plantation is present in the cottages along with coffee makers for guests to sample. Activities If the host is free he takes his guests to sunrise valley which is close by, where you can see stunning views of the rising sun. Nature and plantation walks are complimentary. You can either choose to walk around the plantation that is educational or just sit in the recreational room that is so relaxing.
