This documentary details the bureaucratic challenges faced by search and rescue personnel and their desperate need for civilian drones which are restricted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Countless lives could be saved with this existing and affordable technology, but the government prohibited their use in 2007.

Esther and Doug just have infectious personalities. A couple of young, dynamic entrepreneurs, they are both just so fun to be around, and are so clearly adored by all of their friends and family. We had the honor of capturing their nuptials and all of the beautiful events occurring around them. We created this next week highlight for them and their friends/family to re-live the romance and energy of their day! We also had the pleasure of working along-side Adam Nyholt, Clint Shuttlesworth and Chip Gillespie: 3 incredibly talented photographers who were all rocking the still photos. In his exhibition, Crossing the Farther Shore, acclaimed Vietnamese American artist Dinh Q. Lê presents thousands of photographs of Southern Vietnam taken before and during the Vietnam War. Lê considers these images as an important document of Southern Vietnam that has escaped the Northern Vietnamese Communist government’s systematic effort to erase the pre-1975 existence of the South. The photographs also serve as a counter narrative to the images the world saw of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. The hand-stitched structures allude to the mosquito nets under which people sleep in Vietnam, creating what Lê calls a “sleeping, dreaming memory of Vietnam.” On view at Rice Gallery April 10 - August 28, 2014. Original score by Mark Walley. Learn more about the exhibition at http://www.RiceGallery.org. Learn more about the filmmakers at http://www.WalleyFilms.com.

So John is a genuinely nice, aspiring musician, and Gabi is,...well, she's adorable. (you'll see) When we were filming Gabi and John, about 1hr into the day, we just knew this was going to be an amazing wedding film. They both have such contagious personalities and the love and joy for their wedding day was basically glowing from them. In the morning, they both were writing letters to eachother, and John was recording his on his laptop for her to watch. Their letters were so thoughtfully conveyed, so we knew we had to make their words to eachother a focal point of their film. The whole day was perfect, and we captured some of our favorite moments ever. You have to wait for their first kiss at the end of the video, which in itself shows how clearly in love they really are. This is a glimpse of their full wedding film. We hope you enjoy! Photographer: Katie Lamb Photography Music licensing: www.themusicbed.com
