On Sunday, April 25th, Indigoverse & Firefly-Path got together to conduct another in a series of shoots for the Dragoon collection. Our journey would take us to the Valley of Fire in Nevada about 36 miles north east of Las Vegas. None of the girls had ever been there before and so it was an extra special shoot. The weather was perfect, blue skies and 90ºF with a subtle breeze. You can view the blog at: www.indigoversephotography.com CREDITS: Costume/ Makeup/ Hair: JoEllen Elam (a.k.a. On Sunday, February 21st, Indigoverse & Firefly-Path got together to conduct the last in a series for the Masquerade Farie shoots. Our journey would have us take a trip to San Diego's very own Balboa Park. The possibility of rain was a never ending factor and almost killed the shoot entirely until one final stroke of luck sent the rain away and gave us sun on and off through out the day. Hello everyone, I have been working on a massive secret project for the last 6 months and decided to unveil a small teaser of the short film to come. The film is simply titled "Treasures of the Mojave Desert". This film was inspired by all the beauty and hidden locations that I've discovered in this wonderful desert I call my home. Everything is shot in High Definition 1080p with my Canon 5D MKII. My primary lenses so far have been the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS Telephoto Lens and my trusty Canon 17-40mm f/4.0L Wide Angle lens. I am a bit short on the gear at the moment, so I am pulling funds together for 3 more lenses that will lend a hand to my project. I'm expecting to finish his short film by late Summer 2010, so please bare with me. =) I still have a few more destinations to make after I get my lenses, so hopefully, I can deliver on time. Until the, here is a small clip from the project to date, enjoy! “Cheers!” ~Indigo .H ©Indigoverse Productions/Photography. All Rights Reserved.+ More details
This is footage that I shot at Rogers Spring, NV in 2010. The spring is completely natural and emerges from a small geothermic fissure in the surrounding rocks. The water is a warm 90ºF / 32.2ºC and so the pool it created is teaming with all sorts of life. This is just a small part of a much bigger project called "Treasures of the Mojave" "Cheers!" ~Indi ©Indigoverse Productions/Photography. All Rights Reserved.+ More details
This is an experimental project that I generated in Cinema 4D with the help of Mark Strutt's tutorial on C4D's Sound Effector plugin here: http://www.vimeo.com/13978105 I used an audio clip of the song "Tron Uprising". This 950 frame render took over 90 hours to complete due to the fact that the materials used where glass like which increased the render time due to all the reflections and refractions... This is a motion test for the new Photography Workshop videos that we will be releasing later this year.... "More to come" Hello, My name is Indigo and Shoot the Planet is something I have dreamed about for many years. I am all too happy to welcome all photo & outdoor enthusiasts to join us on photo trips to key locations all over the Mojave Desert & Eastern Sierras to learn the art of Digital Photography and how to shoot with post treatment in mind. My Instruction offers an unambiguous learning style for all Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced students. I’m also in the works of setting up more hiking trips to some of the more scenic locations in the area as well as future 4WD tours when things really get moving =) I can only hope to succeed and with the help of patrons like yourself so that our ventures can eventually expand to cover the entire Western U.S. My only job is to help you unleash the apex of your true photo skill through “In the Field” and “Hands on Training”. I have never taught a student who didn’t benefit from my instruction. ~Indigo http://www.shoottheplanet.net+ More details
