Using Motion for Educational Information Design Max’s Story: Teenagers with Type1 Diabetes This is my thesis project for Master of Fine Arts Dgree. Today, some younger people are suffering from chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, leukemia, and depressive disorder, which are some of the most significant concerns in the world. In spite of advancements made by modern science and technology, some chronic illnesses still last a lifetime, such as Type 1 Diabetes, known as T1D. In this situation, positive attitudes and correct understanding become really important in educating children how to manage their condition. My design is two and a half minutes and uses motion graphics to tell a story about Max, the lead character. It is much easier to catch teenagers’ eyes with visually interesting and dynamic motion graphics then with just words on a page. In Max’s story, he tells people how to get rid of negative feelings, what happened when he did not control his blood sugar, and what he did to control his blood sugar. These motion graphics utilized the principles of design. Overall, the project is a good trial to combine educational information and motion graphics using a teenage-friendly way to communicate important information.

                      What are Tags?

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
