“Routines” is a mobile app which allows the user to keep track of daily activities and behaviors based on locations, and then visualizes the life-time data with an abstract metaphor. This project is initially intended to present the data in a micro/macro aspect; the more it is used to record user’s daily activities, the more varieties and life patterns will be presented. "Routines" is a lifetime project, and it is very open. I tried my best to develop this app from the artistic perspective, so most users will have different perceptions of the data collected. Also, one might not be able to fully understand the data from another, even the data is from the same app, but still find the visuals interesting and get a sense of how the lifestyles are different. 2014 Thesis project by Wei-Hao (Kent) Chang Thesis Chair: SuAnne Fu Thesis Committee Members: Andrew Hieronymi Woon Kee Yong Music: L (Akira Kosemura Remix) - by Flica Project page: http://www.kent.tsidea.com/routines/
