This piece was made as an installation, which was projected through a large window as a flopped image so it was visible to those standing in front of the building. The video uses images from a construction site across from the installation site, serving as a reflection of the changing landscape. One of the main focuses of this piece was cutting the footage rhythmically, creating a score from the captured sounds.

twilight over The Encampment art installation at Fort York in Toronto on June 19 2012 a video by Henry Martinuk, Chernozym Video time lapse video with TCHAIKOVSKY's 1812 OVERTURE as the soundtrack "Each installation was inspired by the story of an individual living in the Canadas during the War of 1812. Many of these individuals remain unrecognized as part of our history. They represent an assemblage of peoples including First Nations, European immigrants, African Canadians, as well as European and Native loyalists expelled from the United States after the American Revolution. Though the majority did not play a role in the military history of the War of 1812, collectively, they defined the zeitgeist of our nation." [from the The Encampment by Thom Sokoloski & Jenny-Anne McCowan] - the installation was achieved with numerous local Creative Collaborators.
