          from jennifer kirkham Added 61 0 0

This video of stills is a result from an interactive piece in Milkwood Gallery where the public were invited to sit and write a letter beginning with sentence 'I wish I had told you...'. The idea was to remind them of the lost art of letter writing as well as provide them with a form of catharsis. As each image changes to the next the final release can occur, similar to the ritual of burning a letter. For more information visit - www.keepersfind.blogspot.com

              from Vitar Drinkovic Added 61 1 0

Interactive installation In 2014 i went on a residency to Pilsen, Czech Republic. For my project i created a device- installation that projects body sounds ( heart, internal organs) of the users through speakers to the space of selected public buildings in real time. It consists of four electronic stethoscopes of my own design that are connected to a suitcase with audio components, a computer, and finally to speakers. The installation is easily transported by two people, and can easily be assembled, making it highly mobile. It was set up over a course of one week in the following public buildings in Pilsen: Monday 8.12. (16:20 - 18:20) Železniční stanice Plzeň - Jižní Předměstí ( train station) Tuesday 9.12. (13:30 - 15:30) Faculty of Electrical Engineering Wednesday 10.12. (10:00 - 12:00) TOTEM - RDC (volunteering centre) Thursday 11. 12. (10:00 - 12:00) Poliklinika Denisovo nábřeží ( polyclinic ) Friday 12.12. (16:00 - 18:00) Cathedral of St. Bartholomew Sunday 14. 12. (14:00 - 16:00) OC Olympia ( shopping centre) People that occupied the spaces at fore mentioned times could try out the installation freely. Up to 4 people can use the device at the same time, creating a unified rhythm with their heart beat. I was interested in how it would feel to hear your heartbeat in a public space, surrounded by people that can hear it too, like a non verbal communication experiment. Each building would give its own context and „ feel“ combined with the sound of the beating heart. The base concept is transmission of internal organs sounds of people to the space of the public building, which is an organ of the city. video by Lynda Phan 2014.

                  from Marie Sester Added

Tell Me the Truth, during its development: animation of a 3D modeling of Andy Warhol's face. Tell Me the Truth (2010) is an interactive artwork that consists of a mirror hanging on a wall. When approached, the mirror transforms the viewer’s face into the face -and hair- of the iconic artist, Andy Warhol. This transformed image reflects and mimics the viewer’s movements. The viewer’s body, clothes and background stay real. For additional information see: http://www.sester.net/tell-me-the-truth/
