The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has launched the Green List to recognise the pinnacle of good management of protected areas the world over. Only the best managed reserves are chosen. In it's inaugural year the IUCN has chosen three protected areas in New South wales, Australia, to be placed on the list. They are Montague Island Nature Reserve, Cape Byron State Conservation Area and Arakwal National Park. This film is about why they were chosen to be on the Green List.
