Starting to experiment, using my DSLR (Canon EOS 5D MkII) to capture short videos of Inuit sculptures. This masterwork, "Hunter," was created by the late, great Akeeaktashuk [1898 - 1954], born in Nunavik (Arctic Quebec) and then relocated to Craig Harbour, and ultimately to Grise Fiord. My father, the late James Houston, considered Akeeaktashuk to be the first "star" among Canadian Inuit artists. The music is from my fourth film, "Kiviuq," and was composed by Marsha Coffey - copyright mine.
