This is an experimental looping cut of Jaws (Dir Steven Spielberg 1975) variously warped and affected in VDMX and then re-warped in Live.

Highlights from the Universal Studios backlot, in Universal City, Los Angeles. In order of appearance: Mr Potato Head outside the Hasbro production bungalow, on the front lot. This is the place where film classics such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are dreamed up by highly paid cinematic geniuses. Collapsing bridge. Seen in television series as diverse (and as terrible) as The Six Million Dollar Man and Quantum Leap. Picture cars. Automobiles made specifically for use in films and television. The picture cars featured here include drift racers from The Fast and the Furious 3, Tom Seleck's car from Magnum P.I., cars from Animal House, the Blues Brothers and a De Lorean from Back To The Future. Best of all is a vehicle from Serenity. Just think, Summer Glau's arsehole has made contact with that sexy red leather. Mmmmm..... All-terain vehicles from the all-terrible The Lost World: Jurassic Park, plus unconvincing spitting animatronic dino from the same. The SS Venture 'bigature' and Skull Island set from Peter Jackson's nine hour, not-at-all-indulgent remake of King Kong. Pretentious NY film school students shooting some shitty project. Don't worry guys, MacDonald's will always need new staff. Either a flash flood or the set of Cytherea's latest movie. Hugely unimpressive car stunt thing. Now you know where all the auto industry bailout money went. (c) 2009 Conan O'Brian. 9.0 earthquake. This wasn't part of the tour, just another day in LA. The set of 'Wisteria Lane' from something called Desperate Housewives, which I refuse to acknowledge I know anything about even though I'd die if I missed an episode. 'Whoville' from Ron Howard's adaptation of the best selling Doctor Seuss book 'Angels And Demons'. Bates house, Bates motel and an Anthony Perkins look-alike. Don't tell him, but he's being replaced by a Vince Vaughn-alike as soon as his contract expires. Crashed DC8 set from Tom Cruise film about an evil alien overlord who, 75 million yea....oh wait, not it's a 747 from Tom Cruise film about a war of the worlds, apparently. This Jaws set was also, bizarrely, used in the series Murder, She Wrote. A crossover would have been awesome, they missed a trick there.

                    from Michael Dunbar Added 46 0 0

This is a video from the Michael Dunbar "Archives" where I test out the Contra Zoom (as seen in films such as Vertigo and Jaws). I found that I needed to record it to see if it worked. Lucky it did. Hope you enjoy this little treat. (The trick would have worked better if I were able to use a Dolly.)
