1.) Final project - DC3/Douglas c47 - All Aspects (August 2014) Over the course of a week and a half, in my final weeks of my Pixar internship, I modeled and set dressed a scene revolving around a DC3 under the direction of Andrew Dayton (Senior Set Modeler), Mike Altman (Set Modeler), and Greg Peltz (Set Modeler) and presented it in front of the company. The goal of this project was to present this plane in an environment that portrayed a story and created a scene that involved the viewer. -Modeled in Maya -Rendered in Pixar's Renderman engine ----------------------------------------------- 2.) Group Project - Attic (August 2014) Over the course of a week James Bartolozzi, Saad Moosajee, and I created this scene from concept to a finished polished piece using Pixar's in house software (Presto, Lumos, etc.) I was in charge of asset creation, shading, set dressing, and keep alive animation. James Bartolozzi - Rendering, additional modeling, additional shading, particles, compositing Saad Moosajee - Rendering, lighting, layout, additional shading, additional set dressing Special thanks to Nicole Ridgewell for animation assistance. ----------------------------------------------- 3.) Train Depot - All Aspects (November 2014) I began this project with the intention of mimicking tight deadlines and producing professional quality work using the lessons and knowledge I obtained during my internship under the direction of the talented individuals around me. I was also able to get an in-depth critique partway through by Andrew Dayton, allowing me to make corrections and fix any issues that needed to be addressed. The entire scene was completed in 6 days. I did run into some issues during the process: my python script didn't work when I ran it initially, (to place shingles on the roof), the issue was merely a syntax error. Additionally, I ran into a new issue in that maya wouldn't batch render and the maya.batch application would crash. Working alongside a very talented colleague (Patrick Pineda), the issue was able to be troubleshooted and resolved. -Tree frames modeled by hand, needles populated using SpeedTree -Grass created using PaintFX -Rendered using Arnold and Maya Hardware 2.0 (wireframe) ----------------------------------------------- 4.) Cabin in the Woods - All Aspects (January 2014) I spent the better part of 6 weeks during the evenings creating this after seeing the nordic style of Frozen. I did run into some issues regarding render times of 2 hours part way into the project, which was later pushed down to 10 minutes and was caused by large, unnecessary textures and high catclark subdivisions. Overall I feel it was a successful piece. -Trees modeled using Onyx -Grass was done with PaintFX -Ivy generated in Ivy Generator -Rendered using Arnold and Maya Hardware 2.0 (wireframe) -Lit using directional lights + area lights ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special thanks: Fran Kalal, Michael Launder, Richard Marrujo, Patrick Pineda, and Jeff Gipson Song: "Bleu" - Worakls

"A New You" is a transformational sermon series of the Appalachian Church Plant, Crosspointe Community Fellowship in Bluefield, VA. It is based on the Bible book of Ephesians as we will look each of the six weeks at a different of the six chapters of Ephesians, a week for each Chapter. We are challenging the church to read a chapter of the book of Ephesians each day of the week so at the end the series the church will have read and studied the book of Ephesians six times! The book of Ephesians has a lot to say about the church. More importantly it has a lot to say about you! Come and learn about "A New You" at Crosspointe! Please enjoy the message by Brad McMillion.
