In celebration of their 130 years in baseball, we've teamed up with the legendary Louisville Slugger to create a brand-new collection of limited-edition wood sunglasses. Handcrafted in our Portland, OR wood shop, these two models of our Canby and Haystack silhouettes are a tribute, not only to America's favorite pastime, but to American craftsmanship and ingenuity. Harvested in rural NY forests, milled into a bat in Louisville, KY, swung on fields around the globe, and repurposed in Portland, OR, the wood used for these glasses has seen many life cycles on its journey to you. Where will you take them next? www.shwoodshop.com www.experimentwithnature.com Video: Joe Stevens www.joestevensmedia.com Music: S. Project for Bulwark Flame-Resistant apparel. In collaboration with: Jeff Nishinaka / www.jeffnishinaka.com Fitzgeralds&CO / www.fitzco.com Superfad LA Details: Paper sculptor Jeff Nishinaka spent eight months creating a work of art. And we burned it to ashes. We made this film documenting the process as a reminder that, in the face of fire, life is as fragile as paper. Because people aren’t fireproof. That’s the reason for everything we do – from our training and technical support programs to developing new FR garments and seeking out better FR fabrics. Check out the great line of gear at www.bulwark.com!

Experimenting with a 3D technique from the early 1800’s, Shwood presents a stereoscopic view of their new “Shwood Select” premium line of wooden eyewear. Available now through www.shwoodshop.com. More Info on Stereoscopy: Invented in 1838, Stereoscopy is a technique used for creating the illusion of three-dimensional depth from images on a two-dimensional plane. Presenting two offset images separately to the left and right eye of the viewer, these two-dimensional images are then combined in the brain to give the perception of 3D depth. In most cases, a special viewing device (stereoscope) is used to correctly view the images in order to perceive the intended effect. However, by using “Wiggle Stereoscopy” and simply alternating between the left and right images of a stereogram, one is able to achieve a similar “you are there” effect. Between the 1840s and the 1920s, stereographs served as an important method of entertainment, education, and virtual travel to exotic places of the world. www.shwoodshop.com www.experimentwithnature.com Filmed and Edited by Joe Stevens www.joestevensmedia.com Music: Poliça "I See My Mother" www.thisispolica.com
