Timed for the 50th anniversary of the last successful assassination of an American President, this is the story of the last day of John F. Kennedy’s life. It began in FT. Worth and ended when his body was returned to the White House at 4:30 the next morning. Producer Bob Hill shot footage in many of the sites of that last day, the hotel he and wife Jackie stayed at in Ft. Worth, Love Field in Dallas, Dealey Plaza overlooked by the Texas School Depository Building and the grassy knoll, Parkland Hospital, the intersection where Lee Harvey Oswald killed a Dallas policeman, and the theater he was arrested in. Mr. Kennedy’s body was laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery aligned with the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument lighted by a temporary and then permanent eternal flame. Thus ended a 72 hour period that started with what the Warren Commission said was a crime against a man and mankind. Hill, shot, wrote, voiced and edited the piece.
