A behind the scenes of Little Kaiju. Work done primarily by me and my partner in crime, Chris Clyne. For this film we avoided using frame buffers, only rendering out cast shadow, zdepth and AO as auxiliary passes. Everything else was rendered "in camera" to save us valuable render time in this large undertaking. Maya, After Effects and Nuke were the software packages used in creating the VFX in this film.
