On the northwestern tip of Oahu is Kaena Point State Park thrives as a natural wildlife reserve and safe haven for endangered species of birds that are native to the Hawai'i islands. The hike into the reserve is almost 4 miles of rugged trails along the west side of the island. At the park can be found albatross, seahawks, monk seals and endangered plant life. Along the hills of the park is a protected fence that traps out predators such as feral dogs, mongoose, rats, mice and cats. For more information visit - http://hawaiiphotography.yo-rg.info
