    Le brouillard était juste en dessous de notre niveau d'observation. Les nappes avançaient sur nous tout en ondulant (Ondes de Kelvin-Helmholtz). Vidéos en Time Lapse, 24 images par seconde, sachant que les images étaient prises toutes les 2 secondes environ. Ce qui fait une évolution environ 50x plus rapide que la réalité.     • Fog, small Kelvin-Helmholtz waves and twilight

      The twilight was starting on a clear sky except over there at the horizon, 8-10 km from my position, where fog was recovering the north part of the Forêt de Chaux and its surrounding villages. A good oppotunity to try to catch Kelvin-Helmholtz waves (slight ones here), and a nice suprise at the end of the time lapse. The mountain on the left background is where the Montfaucon stronghold is, with a big antenna, which is atop of Besançon (50km from my spot). Shot with Canon 450D, 75-300 mm UsM III (set on 80mm) 2014-08-28 from 6:22 AM to 7:26 AM. From Dole, Jura, France
