From the fascistic dictator of Nazi-Germany to the mentally ill artist. A new interpretation of the movie "Der Untergang" from Oliver Hirschbiegel and Bernd Eichinger. The movie was created in a one-week short time project at KISD to experiment with the possibility to disturb historical or contextual content with the tool of time. The movie was presented in Cologne 2011.

@><#!!! is a surface of an arbitrary machine communicating on an emotional level with the humans. It tries to make internal processes visible by an alteration of its surface structure and to react on interaction. The result is a playful handling, starting with a cautious approach, smooth movements, checking out the possibilities. When the interaction gets more intense, the machine will get overtaxed and show stronger reactions. In the end: total refusal, plays dead, it needs a break; until the next user will interact with it. http://aggregat.studio-no.de/ aggregat is a gesture-based digital audio workstation for sound production in ableton live 8. The interface allows up to three people to create music collaboratively in one single set – aggregat brings back the performative band-character into digital music: Instead of watching somebody (DJ) looking like he‘s checking emails, the audience experiences a show. aggregat was was designed by studio nø: antonio de luca, daniel dormann and andreas unteidig. aggregat is still in experimental phase. Analog Layer is a project that questions the current paradigm of human machine interaction. for more information please visit www.jonmct.com We are now expected to not only use our digital devices, but also wear them on our bodies and live alongside them in our most private spaces. This transformation has led to a sort of cultural clash between us and our tools. The delicate balance between the constant flow of analog information in the form of all human sensations and output sharply collides with the abrupt discontinuous precision of digital. Our everyday devices which we are now expected to live with have all reached such a level of technological complexity that they have all but ceased to communicate what it is they are actually doing. The few physical human touch points which still exist (i.e. changing batteries) are communicated by using the same discontinuous digital analogy of flashing lights or displayed error codes. Gone are the days in which we could simply sense the status of our machines through using our sensorial input. The slow fading of a typewriter’s ink and the gradual whistling of a kettle as it boils were both subtle forms of analog communication which help humanize the interaction with our tools. With my proposed object I ask to generate discussion in the area of system de-mystification through behavior by proposing a redesign of a robotic vacuum cleaner as an analogy for a banal daily object. The digitally controlled robotic structure is covered in a thin mesh of tessellated paper, constantly translating the discontinuous robotic movement into a fluid shape shifting form, the Analog Layer.

Statt rein digital die zu bespielenden Flächen zu bestimmen, kann in dieser Anwendung mit haptischen Steuerelementen direkt auf der bespielten Fläche agiert werden. apro.map is an experiment installation to visualize the principles as they are for projection in the meaning of video mapping. In this experimental setup the transfer between the standards of consumer projection mapping software in interaction with the actual displayed image is questioned. Instead of regular static and digital areas for mapping the interaction takes place with objects directly on the projection area.
